- Frank Hindriks is a philosopher with a background in economics.
He is head of the department of Ethics, Social and Political
Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of
Groningen. Hindriks is a founding member of the International
Social Ontology Society (ISOS) and a founding editor of the Journal
of Social Ontology (JSO). He collaborates with psychologists and
sociologists within the interdisciplinary and interuniversity
research programs Sustainable Cooperation (SCOOP) and Social
Cohesion (SOCION). Since 2020, Hindriks is a member of the Royal
Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities.
